Space technology has found a way to block out the infared heat and the harmful ultraviolet spectrums of sunlight with very little loss of the visible light. These metalized films block the heat by reflecting the heat rays before they can pass through the glass. In manufacturing the film is drawn through a vacuum chamber with a hot Nickel-Chromium, or NiChrome, (pronounced nye-kröm) ingot. There an electromagnetic field directs streams of ions toward the metal as the heat causes the metal to give up particles, which then migrate onto the film's surface sputtered on in a layer one-hundredth the thickness of a human hair. The result is a reflective layer with very little mirror effect. Finally an ultra-clear mylar polyester layer is laminated on and the acrylic hard coating is applied creating a beautiful premium quality residential window film.

The detacified adhesives on the neutral color films are activated by water when installed, so they are very easy to work with and very user friendly. When cured these adhesives are permanent and strong. These films are state-of-the-art and the newest inovation in residential window films. These are the same top grade premium quality scratch resistant window films that professional installers use, not the low quality films found at do-it-yourself sites and home improvement centers. These metalized films do not contain any dyes that can fade or turn purple. All of these films filter out 99% of the harmful UV rays that cause fading damage and dangerous health conditions. These are clean looking neutral color films that are virtually invisible, blending well with all exterior and interior color schemes. Neutral color films were designed for dual-pane glass but they can also be applied to many type of windows including motorhomes, luxury boats and airplanes.
